What is Personal Mastery?
Personal mastery is another of Peter Senge's five disciplines, describing an individual's ongoing practice of clarifying what truly matters to them and continually developing the skill and patience to close the gap between that personal vision and their current reality, rather than settling for good enough.
Organizations made up of people practicing personal mastery tend to have higher energy and more honest feedback, because individuals who are clear on their own purpose are more willing to see reality accurately, including uncomfortable truths, instead of protecting a comfortable but inaccurate picture of how things are going.
